The water analysis involves checking the quality and balance of swimming pool water by measuring several indicators:

• The pH of the water should be between 6.8 and 7.2
• The TH of the water, or the hydrotimetric title, is used to assess the hardness of the pool water. Ideally, the TH should be between 10 and 25°f (French degrees).
• The disinfectant level (chlorine, bromine, PHMB, salt, etc.) to ensure that the water does not contain bacteria.
• Water temperature: Pool water that is too hot or too cold can affect the effectiveness of certain disinfectant products, and therefore promote the growth of algae in the pool.

There are seasons that are more important than others for a swimming pool (and we're not just talking about the summer season with swimming). The start of the summer season should be the time for a major cleaning before restarting your pool. At the end of the summer, always put your pool into winter storage after having done another major cleaning. And above all, don't make the mistake of completely emptying your pool, thinking that this will avoid maintenance in the event of a long period of disuse: you would only damage your pool.

The maintenance of a swimming pool does not require a very significant investment: it takes one to two hours per week during the period of use. Then, allow half a day for a complete cleaning at the beginning and end of the season.
