Sloped-bottom shell pools have the advantage of a progressive pool shape. This type of incline allows everyone to enter the water smoothly. There’s a small bath for children to play in, and a large one for adults to dive into.
The sloped-bottom pool, also known as a gently sloping pool, has a depth of between 1m and 1.50m for the shallow end and between 1.50m and 2m for the deep end. This type of incline is ideal for families, from the very young to the very old. With the progressive-bottom shell pool, the little ones can play right where their feet are. Older children can swim, relax and even dive in the deeper pool.

Sloped-bottom pools have many advantages, but they do have their drawbacks. The first point to emphasize is that your pool’s large bath will, by definition, be shorter than that of a flat-bottomed pool and will therefore reduce swimming space, but isn’t that the price to pay for a pool that’s suitable for everyone? The second negative point concerns the large bath, which is deep enough to allow you to dive without worry, but beware of the temperature! A larger volume of water will be more difficult to heat, so keep this in mind if you’re thinking of buying a sloped-bottom pool!
