Why install a pool shelter?
The installation of protective equipment around swimming pools was made mandatory in January 2003 by the NF P 90-309 standard , to prevent drowning . Since this standard, swimming pool shelters must comply with the law in terms of resistance and safety.
In addition to this obligation, opting for a pool shelter allows you to protect your pool and extend the season . Indeed, a pool shelter increases the temperature of the water and air naturally, which allows you to enjoy your pool for longer .
A pool shelter also allows you to save money , particularly when it comes to maintaining your pool . By protecting the surface of the water, your shelter prevents the appearance of waste due to bad weather and pollution. You will therefore save money on the maintenance of your pool while guaranteeing the cleanliness and quality of your water.
There are many types of pool enclosures available depending on your pool and your preferences. If you still don't know which one to choose, discover the characteristics of the different pool enclosures available on the market.

- The telescopic shelter . It can be opened completely to reveal the entire pool. The different elements of the shelter fit together to reveal and cover the pool.
- The sliding pool shelter. It consists of two modules of different widths which slide into each other.
- The semi-sliding shelter. It uses the same principle as the sliding shelter but one of the two modules is fixed.
