In the context of a standard swimming pool (between 10m2 and 100m2 )

If you are planning to install a polyester shell pool with dimensions between 10 m2 and 100 m2 , you should know that you will be required to declare the work to your local council. This prior declaration of construction authorises the administration to check that your pool project complies with the town planning regulations in force in your municipality. To obtain this document, nothing could be simpler:

• Before completing any form, make sure that the legal distances to be respected comply with the requirements of your swimming pool project.
• First, fill out the appropriate Cerfa form and add the supporting documents (land plan, photograph, etc.);
• Once the file is complete, submit it to the town hall of the municipality where you wish to install your shell pool .

Once the application has been submitted, allow between 1 and 2 months before receiving a response from the town hall. As soon as you receive your positive response, you will have 2 years to start building your shell pool . Just like the prior construction declaration , the response to a building permit application is generally made 1 to 2 months after the file is submitted.
